Rushi Oza has been involved with golf for over 25 years and was born and raised in Canton, OH.  He fell in love with golf as a junior and attended NC State University.

 

Rushi pursued a career as a Playing Professional and trained for 5 years under Dr. TJ Tomasi, Golf Magazine Top-100 Instructor.  His career included playing events all across the United States and multiple countries throughout South America.

 

Rushi became a Class A PGA Professional in 2015 and worked at various private facilities in South Florida.  Rushi then went to work for world renown instructor, Jim McLean at his golf school in Miami, FL for 5 years.  While working for Jim McLean, Rushi achieved accomplishments such as being elected to Golf Digest Best Young Teachers in America multiple times, 2022 South Florida Southern Chapter Teacher of the Year and having multiple articles published for Golf Digest, PGA Magazine.  He also competes regularly in PGA Section tournaments and has qualified for two PGA Professional's National Championships.

  • Advanced to US Open Sectional Qualifying – 2011

I spent four days as Rushi’s student taking lessons. He is a superb teacher.  I left knowing more about swing mechanics than I had learned in a score of lessons with others.  His teaching technique is simple and I hit the ball more accurately and consistently.  In all, it was a great learning experience.
